We think of you every single day and miss you very much Cash. Even though we can’t be with you in person this year, you are included in all of our family Christmas Traditions, you have your very own Swarovski Crystal 2016 Star on our Christmas Tree along with the other Grandchildren (we have one for each year our Grandchildren have arrived). You also have a Swarovski crystal wreath for Baby’s First Christmas 2016 with little booties in the middle for the tree. When your Dad was born (1985) he had a blue ball to go on the tree…I still have it, it’s still on the tree today, and I have included a picture for you. I have also included a picture of an ornament of The Big Bang Theory – your Dad and I both loved that show.
You also have your own Christmas Stocking, that I have stuffed with a Christmas T Shirt, a My First Christmas Bib and a Crimefighter in Training T-Shirt (when he was little your Dad just LOVED Batman). I was also a bit naughty and bought you a chocolate stocking as well, just like the other grandchildren, I know your are only little but a little bite won’t hurt!
We have 5 and a bit other grandchildren….Amy (5), Connor (2) and their little sister who is still cooking in her Mummy’s tummy (Your Dad’s Sister, Christina – your Dad called her Neen), and because your Grandad Vince and I make a Stepfamily, he also has some grandchildren who are now my step grandchildren, Sienna (5), Mila (2) and Aria (1). So you can see if you were here with us you, would be the youngest so far and fit right in…..until next March when you will be a big boy of 1 and have a little girl cousin who is just newborn. Your cousins will also miss you at Christmas.
Your Christmas video that Ya Ya organised from Santa should have arrived but if not, I have posted it on Facebook and if Granddad Vince can help (YaYa is not so good with technology) I will try to post a link here too.
Your Christmas gift from YaYa and Granddad Vince this year is a Duplo Counting Train Set…..I can hear your Dad now if he was here…..”Not another educational toy Mum?” You see your YaYa is a school teacher and I find it hard to give gifts that are just fun, I think you should be able to have fun and learn something too! It was always a joke between your Dad and his Sister, your Aunty Neen, and they would tease me. There is also a little dog….your Dad loved dogs…all the Herriott’s do…..as I’m sure you would know Ballzac was your Dad’s “Fur Kid” before you arrived. We miss Ballsy too… but I know your Dad would want him to be with you, looking after you….a boy needs his dog!
