I have started a few quilts for Kyle – one for my his shirts that I decided to try making into a hexagonal quilts for winter – its all done by hand so a slow and steady project – I will post something when I finish it but don’t hold your breath!

Likewise I saw a quilt kit – something I’ve never tried before, in a magazine and it was available in Darwin. Kyle was born in Darwin and loved it when the dragon flys arrieved each Dry Season. I have come to associate him with a dragonfly now. So his Aunty Jack ,who lives in Darwin, got it for me and brought it down with her on a trip to Perth. She even helped me with the ironing of the millions of little pieces we had to make! So likewise it will be a slow project – to be put away and pulled out again. But thats okay we will get there in the end!
