Kyle's Memorial Pinnaroo · Life of Kyle · Ways We Remember Kyle

Dedication of Kyle’s Memorial Rock at Pinnaroo

Today at 4.00pm the family met in a private dedication of Kyle’s Memorial Rock at Pinneroo. Although it was a somber occasion that we all wished wasn’t necessary, we tried to be joyful for Kyle’s life and celebrate that he was with us. It was also sad that little Cash, his only child, now nearly 2,  could not be there for this special event. I do hope that one day he will come and see his Dad’s memorial.

I ordered some yellow flowers, and I raised the energy and vibration of his rock by planting a crystal grid around it, using crystals I brought back from my Darwin trip last year for his birthday, purchased for this purpose. As I was doing this I found some pieces of the rock that came to me, one for me, one for his Aunty Jack and one for his Sister. I also was gifted a feather from him as I dug around his rock – he always lets me know he is near and knows what’s going on, which is very special.

Kyle’s Nanna and Granddad Jock were down from Darwin, so were also able to attend along with his sister, Christina and her family, husband Yee, Amy (6), Connor (3) and Piper (1 in a few days). Vince and I organised some Moet Champagne and a few beers (although not the Corona that Kyle loved!) to toast Kyle’s life and the time we shared. We just had a picnic dinner and used my iPhone to play Kyle’s Playlist from my iTunes.

The children had some fun, including feeding the local magpies. We were hoping to see the many kangaroos that come there, but they didn’t visit whilst we were there.

There were a few tears shed here and there, but overall it was a happy family time to honour our family member now in spirit watching over us. Those we love never really leave us, they live on in our memories and hearts. Love you always and forever Kyle, love Mum xxxx
