Kyle's Birthdays (AKD) · Life of Kyle

Darwin Trip for Kyle’s Birthday 23 Nov 2017

I started my day with an early morning (5.00am) visit to Peasholm St Dog Beach to spend time with Kyle’s ashes before my flight to Darwin. I wanted to reconnect with where my son was born and where he grew up before we came to Perth, WA.

Places I visited included:
The Park at 59 Mistletoe Crs
Nightlife Pool
Nightcliff Beach
Sanderson Primary
Nakara Primary
Nightcliff Markets
The Territory Wildlife Park
The Croc Farm
Sabine Road – Rapid Creek
Darwin Hospital
My sister Jacky’s Place
My Mum and Dads Place on the RAAF Base
RAAF Golf Course
Stokes Hill Wharf – fishing
Howard Springs
Berry Springs
Litchfield National Park
Buley Rockhole
Batchelor Outdoor Education Centre

It was a whirlwind visit from 23rd Nov – 2nd Dec and although very emotional also very cathartic at the same time. When we lived there, Kyle would get excited with the arrival of the Dragonflies that heralded the start of the Dry Season. I have come to associate him as a dragonfly and hoped I might see one whilst I was there, but as I was coming at at the wrong time of year (the Wet) and they were not due until around April I knew it was highly unlikely. To my amazement when I was visiting Howard Springs not only did I get to see one, but a whole host of them were flying all around near where we parked the car. It was incredible to watch, and confirmation that my son approved of my visit and was with me.

We toasted him with Moet Chandon – that he always complained tasted like “Cat Piss” but always drank it with me none the less!
Whilst there I also bought a range of local NT mined crystals to raise the vibration on his memorial rock at Pineroo when I return to Perth. I attended a Psychic Expo and had two readings done which included information on both Kyle and Cash.
I had asked Kyle to send me a feather to show me he was around as I hadn’t had any from him for a while – what did I find when I went to the RAAF Golf Course – not only a feather – but a whole Kite Hawk under the big Raintree he used to play under. I asked permission and took the birds wings and feathers and buried the rest. I will use these in my Shamanic Practice at Celtic Healing. It would be typical of Kyle – she want’s a feather, I’ll give her a whole bird! Just his sense of humour!
I also caught up with Kyle’s Godfather, Denys Canet.
I miss you on your birthday, and everyday my Kyle-Stevie, love you always and forever. Mum xxx
