On 28th Feb 2019 Christina and Yee finally sold 19 Nobel View, Tapping – the dream home they built when they were engaged and saw their first two children welcomed home. It is also significant in Kyle’s life, as being his only sibling and sister, Kyle did all the high end tiling throughout her dream house.

After I got the call on 25.1.2016 that no parent wants – to tell me Kyle had died, it was the place I first arrived home to on 27.1.2016 from my honeymoon (as our house was still rented out because we came home early). It’s the place where on Sunday 31st Jan 2016 we held private a family and close friend’s candlelight vigil for him, in preparation for his funeral on 4 Feb 2016 (the worst day of my life).

So this house is so much more than just a house of bricks and mortar. It is the place Kyle would come for family Christmas’, his nieces christening and birthdays, when Grandparents visited from interstate and where some professional family portraits were taken. It’s where we swam, and laughed, and drank and shared special family moments and memories, and it was always some of his “best work” for his Sister and the essence of Kyle’s trade and energy were everywhere. He always wanted to give his very best to his family. It’s such as shame that he is not here to give to his son, Cash, in the way he would want, and also that his family is prevented from giving to little Cash in the way we would want.
