Well, it’s another special day (my 56th Birthday) without my family all together to celebrate as we normally would. I am truly grateful for the people in my life and the love and caring they give me and the amazing joy they bring – I could not have survived this without their love and support. But at the same time, each family celebration is always tinged with the sadness and grief that never leaves me – for my dead son, Kyle, and his little son, Cash (who continues despite our best efforts to be withheld from his father’s family). An essential part of our family is missing and that hurts, but at the same time I know that Kyle would want us to enjoy life (as he did) and make the most of it, so we try our best to do so and be thankful. xxx
