My parents live in Darwin (where Kyle was born) and try to visit Perth at least once a year. This year they came down in May for Connor’s 5th birthday party at Inflatable World at Bouncer Sport Centre. It’s where Kyle first started Basketball before moving over to the Wolves. As I walked in the door for the first time in years and years, “The Fire and the Flood” song from his funeral came on….I guess to let us know he was not missing out on his nephew’s party after all!
Whilst my parents were visiting they bought some flowers and Christina (my daughter) and I took them for a trip out to Pinneroo to see Kyle. We all wish you were still with us Kyle, but in particular your Granddad Jock really struggles without you – he finds it hard to even talk about you…you were always his “Main Man” and now our family can’t even get to see your son. I hope that Karma sorts that injustice out asap and we will get to reconnect with little Cash (3) – I know it’s what you would want xxx
