When Kyle was growing up he was always very active and into physical activities, he tried many different sports and hobbies over the years including footy, cricket, bodyboarding, karate, basket ball, BMX and even ballroom dancing! Some were passing phases and some were life long loves. Although there is a family history of Judo, in fact that was how I met his biological father ( as a teenager I got a silver medal in The Australasian Championships in Darwin) none of the children ever took it up. When his sister, Christina, recently texted me these photos of her children, Amy (7) and Connor (5) in their sporting gear, it took me back to when I remembered Kyle in his.
