Closely following the Anniversary of Kyle’s Death on 24th Jan each year, the anniversary of his funeral (probably the worst day of my life having to let my son’s body go) flashes next. I don’t always come to visit on this day – I try to be kind to myself and just do what I feel I can cope with. Sometimes I come and sometimes I don’t – this year I felt the need to come.
